WOMAN !!!

As the popular saying goes,........... "It is a man's world" but is that true? What truly would the world be without the presence of the feminine gender? Woman!..............

It’s a beautiful Sunday morning. East bound, the sun rises. Mr. Williams yawns, stretches out his right hand and reaches for his bed clock. It’s a quarter to seven (6.45 am), under his breath he mummer’s thirty (30) minutes more.

Mrs. Williams gets out of bed brushes her teeth and makes her way to the children room to wake them up. They five (5) children, and with kids----- God bless their soul but, one (1) can make a handful.

So she wakes them up and get them to brush and shower, then heads for the oval office (the kitchen) puts some eggs in a saucepan with water and starts to boil them. Then she heads back to the master bedroom to now wake the biggest of all her babies and needs to remind him that church service is at 8.00 am.

By 8.15 am, six (6) individuals are clean, all feed and ready to go.......... herself inclusive of course.

Now that's one of the many beauties of a woman's (mother) presence. But would you like to picture this same pretty story without a woman? Be it wife or nanny... I’m quite sure one or two of the grown kids will find their way to church, because I don't think they will make 8.15 oh, what a straggle that would be.

Women are known to be loving, compassionate filled with sugar and spice all things nice. We all have a conscience man/woman but women strongly believe and listen to theirs that's why they can either make or cake or brake a man. "Behind every successful man there is a woman".

The wrath of a woman can be like that of a snake with horns so also can her love be like no earthly comparison, it's almost become spiritual issue (agape love). Treat her like a woman, do her right and she'll stick closer to you than your spine. For where our heart desires (man) she’ll wine and dine, she would love and believe in you even if you have no dime. Nowadays you hear people say (the girl too like money) trust me dear reader's when I say it maybe alright to like money, just don't let it control you, "pride goes before a fall". But yes.... why won’t she like money? Money makes the world go round. You met her, lovely lips and her fingertips... smelling like peaches in a lovely African attire popularly called a boo-boo. Lovely sliver earrings and chains to match... the perfect African woman and you now want her to settle for less. Hell no. My brothers DO MORE.

I sincerely think that women should be more empowered than they are now (today). Maybe to the position of the presidency, state governors, heads of senate, House of Assemblies etc. will suite them just right. I strongly believe that there would be a difference in just their first term......... then maybe we can vote for third term.......... We've seen and are still seeing women who are doing the country proud in respect to Mrs. Dora Akunyili, Mrs. Onikepo Oshodi (fighter for women emancipation and human rights activist) amongst a few. stories makes a house, but the people make a home. In essence what am saying is a home will almost not be complete without a feminine presence. i.e. a widower with 5 children can't handle it......... but it will be a smooth as a woman's touch.

Our dear Nigeria is a home not a house; with mother figures in right places we can move forward.... to be candid we've been stagnant for too long. Women are not half as self center as men are. For example.... Mr. and Mrs. Williams are in bed it's one in the a.m and little Cassie 2 years and 3 months old begins to cry. There's no ways Mr. Williams is going to budge, He'll just grab another pillow and it over his head and compress in other to eliminate the sound of his daughter crying. But as the popular saying goes 'if pikin no sleep, mama no go sleep' if the masses, the people are in pain, a woman will share that same pain. Not to say that we don’t have heartless or inconsiderate women. But if we were to weigh it on a ratio basis, in terms of being considerate, it would be man 30percent, woman 70percent, don’t you agree? if we look back into history we remember some great women who made a difference to the system. Mary slessor (Psquare, Mamuzee (una lucky oh. Magareth Ekpo, Janet Mokelu, Funmilayo Ransome Kuti. These women made an impact in our world. They say what a man can do a woman can do better, but i will say what a man can do a woman can do as well. From carrying of head pans (pon pon) to politics.

Need I say more? No, I humbly rest my case and leave every man to his own judgment. So go forth and multiply, diversify and lets make Nigeria and the World a better place. So support the Feminine Gender and promote Feminism.
